Harvest 2025
Hello from the vines,
Harvest 2025 is officially wrapped — and it started earlier than ever. At 4am, it was just me and Chris in the dark with head-torches on… and by the time the last crate hit the trailer, we were surrounded by the best harvest crew we’ve ever had.
A season that started long before September.
Back in May, every vine was just finding its start. Chris was out there bud-rubbing in the quiet, doing the slow work that nobody ever sees but everyone tastes in the end.
By late summer, the rows were tall, heavy, golden — the vineyard at its most alive.
Our village showed up (again).
We still can’t believe how many people gave up their saturdays to help us.
It’s the sort of support that makes this place feel rich in ways we can’t measure.
This year’s crew was a mix of old faithful and brand-new faces who slotted in like they’d been here for years.
People who arrived as strangers left as friends — and that’s the magic of doing something real, together.
What happens next for the grapes.
The fruit is now with the winemakers — starting its own quiet transformation into something we’ll proudly share with you in 2027.
Small batches.
Traditional method.
Modern Cornish character.
No pretension. Just good wine made for real people, real moments.
The vineyard today.
The vines look very different now.
The leaves have dropped, the rows are bare, and everything has slipped into dormancy after the rush of harvest.
There’s a different kind of beauty here now — calm, pared back, and almost cinematic in its stillness.
Proof that every season, even the most intense, ends with a moment to breathe.
Want to join Harvest 2026?
We’ll open volunteer spots next summer, and newsletter readers always get first access.
If this year was anything to go by, they’ll fill quickly — so keep an eye out.
Thank you for following and helping along our journey — truly.
Whether you picked grapes, sent a message, shared our posts, or just cheered us on from afar… thank you.
You’re helping us build something real down here in Cornwall.
We’re muddy, exhausted, and ridiculously grateful.
And we wouldn’t change a thing.
Until the next season,
Kelly, Chris & the kids
